SLOTH LOVES CHUNK

The Goonies was another iconic film that influenced me. I think it was the first time that I heard a kid swear on film, that did it for me. This started off as a glass painting that had another lasting impression on me.

In 2006, the night before my 2nd Toronto show I ran out of blue paint & in a last minute ditch effort to save this one I cut up an old pair of jeans and used that as a colour fill. That’s how it all started from me.

This illustration was something I wanted to revisit after years of being unsatisfied with the finished product of the original glass painting.
