THE RETRO SCI FI HIPSTER MASH UP

Also known as “The They Live Seven Year Itch Hipster Mash Up”, this image started off as a poster for an acoustic show I did with the Whiskey Hearts last year. I saw the potential right away and spent another few days on this one. Using Frank Powolny’s The Seven Year Itch promo photo as a guide I traced off most of the features and added Mr. Carpenter’s iconic They Live details over top. Gave the happy couple a more modern hipster vibe.

This is one of my first fully digital images created in Photoshop.
