This was one of those thrillers that I just couldn’t stop watching. I got into Luc Besson’s films after randomly watching The Big Blue (Le Grand Bleu 1988) & his classic La Femme Nikita (1990) in college. The cinematography & pacing are still brilliant. I was already a big fan of Gary Oldman & watching a young Natalie Portman grow up & become a killer was something special. It’s a violently beautiful film that stands the test of time.
