THE BAKER BIRD

I recall watching a “making of” Star Wars doc years before and listening to Kenny talking about how the crew used to forget about him in the R2 unit during lunch breaks while shooting in the desert. This is his F you to the crew. Originally part of a Day of The Dead Star Wars illustration I did for a Freedom Fighter skateboard group show back in 2006 in Toronto.

Unfortunately, we lost Mr Baker on August 13th, 2016.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Daniels in 2011 at Fan Expo Toronto and he graciously turned down my gift but was a complete gentleman and suggested posing for a picture.
