DAYLIGHT FOR DEADEYES

Photos 2008 – 2012

When it came time to work on DFD’s New York EP the boys asked me for a package deal. They needed a new logo and CD graphics as well as a round of new photos. It’s the ultimate gig for me. Having control of all aspects of the product is ideal when working with friends. Something I always wanted to see in band promo pictures is a band that just got off stage. Sweat and all. We needed a venue that would allow the band to perform and with the help of our old teacher friend David Rogers (Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School Meadowvale Mississauga), we were able to set up shop in the old cafeteria on a Sunday afternoon, perform and step outside for photos. Tried shooting through my mom’s old Anscoflex camera for effect.

When it came time for DFD’s Four Seasons releases we faced a similar situation. The band needed graphics and new photos. We simply walked around my neighbourhood for locations. Super fun series and always an honour working with old pals.
