BABY’S FIRST PISTOL – MISTER CLEAN

Once we got the go-ahead & after hour access to this amazing space, we had a decent game plan in place with shot lists & basic framing & camera coverage. Breaking it down into simple static tripod & handheld gimbal coverage & then running the gauntlet or obstacles.

We focused on the Bike race & DodgeBall for most of our obstacle action. The band has a bunch of GoPros & head mounts. Unfortunately, we had to scrap a lot of that footage due to quality & timing. Go Pros are great for action, but as soon as neon/LED lights are introduced into the mix, they tend to get uber dodgy. We had a very small crew, as it was Tim Saulnier & myself setting everything up. Jen Hirst helped up rig the bikes with lights & sound for the close-up passes.

We had a long downtime from filming to the premiere, & am grateful for having the extra time to sit on the edit & see this in various versions.
