Billy Talent opening for Green Day? Come on now. For those who don’t know Rock Am Ring/Rock IM Park is a major German festival held over one weekend with rotating lineups at 2 separate locations in Germany. I got to watch a bunch of great bands.

Even got to watch Green Day on a cold private rooftop high above the venue.

BT German crowds love to sing along to the bangers. When you’re on stage it’s overwhelming to hear so many people sing along with the band. Like an energy wave hitting the stage. I’m just a fortunate bystander – & it was emotional – I couldn’t imagine what it’s been like for the boys. Such a great experience.
